This is really a brand new, factory sealed, Variscope Series 833 microscope. The Variscope microscope group of optical instruments is manufactured by one in the largest "private label" optical fabricators in the world. This microscope is made for high quality viewing of your wide selection of specimens. This microscope is manufactured with an internally rotating dual 2x - 4x stereo objective created from premium ground optical glass. Used in conjunction with the included wide field 10x and 20x stereo eyepiece pairs, you are able to achieve magnifications of 20x, 40x and 80x straight out of the box. The microscope head sits at the comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a very gemel type assembly, allowing for maximum flexibility in adjusting the interpupillary distance. The left eyepiece holder includes an independently controlled diopter focusing adjustment, and molded rubber eyecups are supplied to your comfort. The focusing knob is on both the right and left side in the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. This microscope comes which has a built-in upper and lower light source. You can toggle either top of the or lower light to illuminate both transparent and opaque specimens. Spare halogen bulbs are included using your microscope. The working distance between your objective turret and also the object is 76mm. This microscope includes a plastic dust cover to help keep your microscope in clean dust-free condition. The microscope comes having a frosted glass specimen holder and also a reversible black & white specimen plate.
