This is often a brand new, factory sealed, Variscope Series 858 microscope. The Variscope microscope family of optical instruments is made by one from the largest "private label" optical fabricators inside the world. This microscope is designed for professional grade viewing of an wide variety of specimens. This microscope is manufactured using a .8x to 4x stereo zoom objective made from premium ground optical glass. Used in conjunction using the included ultra-wide field 10x stereo eyepieces, it is possible to gain a zoom magnification selection of 8x through 40x right out in the box. This microscope has a trinocular viewing port to permit attachments of cameras, dual viewing equipment and CCD video. The key microscope head swivels 360 degrees for viewing from any angle, and the head itself sits at the comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a very gemel type assembly, allowing for maximum flexibility in adjusting the interpupillary distance. There are dual diopter focusing adjustments, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for the comfort. The focusing and zoom knobs are on the proper and left side from the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. This microscope has dual built-in infinitely variable halogen lighting. The upper reducing light sources are controlled independently. A unique feature of the microscope is the upper light can be removed or aimed independently. This enables you to create fine lighting adjustments from above and below the specimen. This microscope includes a plastic dust cover to hold your microscope in clean dust-free condition. The microscope also comes having a frosted glass specimen holder and also a reversible black & white specimen plate.
